He walks with a certain authority, a swagger if you will. His stance is taller. His steps reverberate a rich sound, drawing the eye. You can’t help but be impressed.
Nothing captures attention like a great pair of cowboy boots. Whether herding cattle through Wyoming, pressing flesh in Tinsel Town or dancing the two-step in a West Texas honky-tonk, if a man wants to make a statement, he needs the right boots.
Women also know that a pair of custom boots made of exotic leathers, rhinestones and hand-tooled designs can add sass or class to the boardroom, night out or casual weekend.
On October 9th, Scott Emerich, owner of Tres Outlaw Custom Boot Company in El Paso, Texas, will arrive at Desperado boutique in the Old Mill to exhibit over 200 hand tooled, custom-made boots. The Tres Outlaws Boot Company houses the only master bootmakers in the world. These cowboy cobblers do some pretty amazing things within the limited leather backdrop they have to work with. A basic boot can take some 400 individual steps, from hand stitching to hand lasting to the exquisite inlay work.
"I've sold Tres Outlaw boots for over ten years to customers worldwide. These boots are truly works of art,” says Joanne Sunnarborg, owner of Desperado.
The famous are also fans of Tres Outlaw boots. Scott Emerich has designed custom boots for Arnold Swartzenegger, Jennifer Tilly and Kid Rock, just to name a few.
The Tres Outlaw Boot Exhibit is part of Desperado’s anniversary party taking place on October 9th in The Old Mill. Other cowboy couture artisans joining Tres Outlaw include Sliver King Silversmiths and Manuel Nashville Couture.
The public is invited to view the Tres Outlaw Boot Exhibit and attend the Desperado anniversary party on October 9th from 5:00pm to 9pm in The Old Mill. For more information, contact Stormy, Cami or Joanne at 541-749-9980.
